This course was developed by a crisis line trainer with 10 years of experience in the mental health and social services field.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
In this training you will learn:

The best ways to combat mental health stigma

How to foster a mental health positive environment at your academy

How to recognize the basic warnings signs of mental health concerns
-
How to support a team member or student through empathy and active listening
-
How to respond to self-harm, suicidal thoughts and panic attacks as a peer supporter
Duration: 4 hours
